End Forest Mining

The move from England to Australia/family was exciting but exhausting.  However after five months I have re-established my circadian rhythm, family relationships as well as sorting out driving licenses and all those admin. thingies.  Great culture and weather change, the basis for another exciting adventure.  My work on 'The Four Lives of William Blunt' was on hold but he has been knocking at my door so it's time I paid him some attention !   It's brilliant how life throws up such exciting opportunities.

This ‘Brief introduction to Writing’ is for the new writer who in most part is a person with limited resources, that’s you and me. That is, we don’t have the money to spend on numerous courses or pay for proof reading let alone editing and batch printing. However, you may only want to write one novel or a memoir. We will be writers who will do almost everything including publishing our own work. We will be doing the same as millions of others around the world. Amazon publishing is the saviour of the indie publisher. It was for me and will be for you. This introduction sets out some suggestions that will make easier for the new writer to concentrate. There are also some literary rules that are useful to know. This framework will allow you to focus immediately on your task at hand, that is, writing. Good luck to us all.

I just read Ernest Hemingway's 'A Moveable Feast' started in 1957 finalised in 1960.  As a new writer I personally found it enlightening, giving me an insight into the master.  I suggest that all writers whether new or well established read this novel.  Quite amazing.
