Ernest Hemingway: A Moveable Feast.

I just read Ernest Hemingway's 'A Moveable Feast' started in 1957 finalised in 1960.  As a new writer I personally found it enlightening, giving me an insight into the master.  I suggest that all writers whether new or well established read this novel.  Quite amazing.

The 1954 Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to the American author Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961) "for his mastery of the art of narrative, most recently demonstrated in The Old Man and the Sea, and for the influence that he has exerted on contemporary style.

The New York Times wrote in 1926 of Hemingway's first novel, "No amount of analysis can convey the quality of The Sun Also Rises. It is a truly gripping story, told in a lean, hard, athletic narrative prose that puts more literary English to shame."

CONFLICT: While I appreciate Hemingway's literary skills, I condemn his penchant for bull fighting, game trophy hunting and misogyny.  Credit where due and criticism where appropriate.  What do others think?
